Brian Taylor
Owner and Head Coach
Endurance sports have played an important role in my life for many decades. My older brother took my on my first run and that run, and the many others that followed, built the foundation for my coaching practice today. But while I enjoyed running as a young boy, I never really received any beneficial coaching or training. Coaching for young distance runners where I grew up, and at that time, was essentially dropping the team off several miles away from school and telling us to run back. There wasn’t any coaching on running form, no periodization, very few interval sessions, and certainly no strength training. The best athletes either had a natural ability to run, or outside coaching.
It wasn’t until I was in my late 30’s, when I hired my own coach, that I realized what I had been missing. Quickly, and with better coaching, I became a faster runner and cyclist than I had ever been, as I was approaching 40. This was the start of my desire to help others achieve their goals and provide coaching and guidance to help make them a better, faster, fitter person. In addition to receiving the UESCA Running Coach Certification, and continuing to learn and educate myself in all aspects of endurance sports, I believe my experience with endurance sports, including all distance triathlons (sprint to full distance), 5k to marathon races, and several ultra marathons, translates to sharing those experiences, and countless lessons I’ve learned, with my athletes.
My goals as a coach are, of course, to help athletes achieve their goals, but also to share the passion I have for endurance sports and the amazing community on people that make running the most incredible sport.

We believe everyone should feel free to run whenever, wherever, and however they want, but we realize there are many factors that may limit running for many people. We believe it’s important to give back to the communities that have given us so much, so we will give 1% of our annual proceeds to the communities, volunteer organizations, or other relevant groups
